Former R.E.M. vocalist Michael Stipe has teamed up with Hole singer Courtney Love on a new song titled “Rio Grande”. The song is included on Johnny Depp’s pirate themed compilation album, Son of Rogues Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs and Chanteys. The album, which features production work from Hal Willner, will be released on Tuesday, February 19, 2013. You either love Courtney Love or you hate her. I adore her! Listen to “Rio Grande” below.
