Depeche Mode has announced plans to release a new studio album in spring of 2013. The announcement comes ahead of a live press conference the band will hold today (October 23, 2012) at 1:30 PM on their official website. More details on the new album are expected to be revealed during the press conference. Some are speculating this release will be the final from Depeche Mode. Again, this is just a rumor.
Depeche Mode released their last studio album, Sounds of the Universe, three years ago. The LP peaked at No. 3 on the US Billboard 200.
